Community Involvment
At The Daily Grind 519, one of our founding principles was to support our local coffee roasters and support our local communities. Giving back to help those in need any way we could. With the support from our local coffee roasters and customer base our goal is clear cut and simple, together with fundraising initiatives and donations we can support our communities together, one cup of coffee at a time. Each purchase of coffee or coffee accessories, supports the local roasters and communities they reside in.
During the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic here in Ontario we partnered with Roy's Roast to deliver fresh locally roasted coffee to the 6 Fire Stations within Cambridge Ontario. We cannot begin to thank all of our first responders for their service.
Providing Shelter and Support for Pregnant and Parenting Women In Need In Our Community.

In partnership with Simple And Clean Chemical Free Cleaning Solutions, a company that my wife and I also own and operate out of Guelph Ontario we were notified of a theft hitting the West Willow Village Neighbourhood Group. This was close to home as this is the area we live in and are involved in the group.
The West Willow Village Neighbourhood Group has its beginnings in 1997-1998 as a volunteer group of neighbours who came together to develop some programming for youth. With having 2 boys and being involved in the West Willow Neighbourhood Group The Daily Grind (519) and Simple And Clean Chemical Free Cleaning Solutions were able to replace 8 Remote controlled cars that were utilised at camps and community nights for a way for kids and youth to have fun.
